Welcome to exploring British Columbia's history through the perspective of John Robson.
John Robson
British Columbian
John Robson may be regarded as one of the more important individuals in the history of British Columbia. From the time he arrived in the Crown colony as part of the Gold Rush in 1859, until his death as provincial premier in 1892, he was involved in all aspects of colonial and provincial affairs. It is unfortunate that historians have not given him the attention he deserves.
